First-class: The technology
The SUB 200 active subwoofer from Canton works according to the bass reflex principle with a band-pass enclosure. In order to guarantee precise mechanical performance, it is equipped with a generously dimensioned drive including the latest generation of wave surround technology. The multi-folded wave surround allows a much larger stroke compared to conventional surrounds and reduces sound distortion. Aluminum cone is used as the diaphragm material. The SUB 200 in classic cube design has a powerful 280 watt power amplifier with high- and low-level inputs and provides an enormous bass foundation despite its living space-friendly dimensions. The acoustically neutral metal grille enhances the subwoofer even further and provides solid protection of the diaphragm without affecting the sound of the SUB 200.
