If you say A, you have to say B, we thought: it was time to launch the new B speaker series, which complements our successful A models and, just like them, is offered exclusively in our online shop. Our brand new B-Series not only looks beguilingly good, it also scores with an excellent price/performance ratio. The flagship B 100 is a shapely 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker that, with base and device feet, grows 105 centimeters in height. Thanks to its housing width of only 21 centimetres and the low installation depth of 33 centimetres, it is well-proportioned and is ideal for any living environment. And of course, our B 100 also offer the unique Canton sound.
Clear Design Language
The B 100 look simply great in their well-proportioned and high-gloss lacquered housings. Thanks to their simple, elegant design, the immaculately applied lacquer surfaces in black or white and the screw-free front design, the B 100 are a true ornament for every listening room. The timelessly designed speakers rest securely on solid aluminium trusses and can be perfectly adjusted with the height-adjustable feet. The speakers come with shapely and magnetically retaining fabric covers: in case you are ever tempted to hide the beautiful speaker chassis.
Selected and Mature
Our developers have selected proven technology from the Canton shelves for the B 100 floorstanding speakers. This makes it a top favourite right from the start if you’re looking for a sophisticated speaker that should convince you technically and sonically. The titanium diaphragms for midrange and woofers are lightweight yet very stable, which allows them to play with impulse fidelity. Thanks to the storage in the tri-fold wave surrounds, we also ensure dynamic, level-stable and low-distortion operation of the bass reflex speakers. With two 200 mm basses per speaker, the B 100 pumps an enormous low-frequency energy into the listening room. At the same time, it remains crisp, powerful and very precise at all times. In the mids, a 180 mm titanium chassis ensures balance, naturalness and enormous variety of details, which makes the music reproduction wonderfully lively.
Convincing in Every Detail
Thanks to the use of our titanium diaphragms, high-quality crossover components and the balanced sound tuning in the laboratory and listening room, the Canton B 100 is also completely convincing acoustically. The speaker cabinets are made of solid MDF and finished with a very high-quality finish. The versions “High Gloss white” and “High Gloss black” are available. For visual and acoustic reasons, the bass reflex channel is built into the case back and radiates its sound energy at a defined distance from the footprint.
Perfectly Equipped
We equip our B 100 with gold-plated biwiring/biamping connection terminals. In this way, we ensure optimal signal transmission and enable control by separate amplifiers. This also makes it possible to connect cables optimized for the bass and mid-high range. For a perfect connection with your amplifier, you can use the CantoLink 400 speaker cable, which is available in our online store. It is a six-core high-end loudspeaker cable developed by us with a special core and sheathing – for the best possible sound quality. The high-quality and acoustically neutral fabric covers in black conceal a direct view of the technology on request and hold elegantly on the baffles by magnetic attachment.
